Terms of Service

Showpacer is a browser-based stage timer that allows account holders to create rooms, configure timers, control countdowns remotely, and share viewer links for synchronized displays. We may update or change the features of the Service over time as we improve the product.

You must provide accurate and complete account information and maintain the security of your credentials. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Engage in any unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other user accounts, or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including by overloading our infrastructure or circumventing security measures.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell any part of the Service, except as expressly permitted by law.
• Use the Service in any manner that infringes upon the rights of others.

When you share a viewer or controller link, anyone with that link may access the associated room functionality permitted by that link type. You are responsible for who you share links with and for any content displayed through your rooms, including presenter messages. We are not responsible for the content or actions of third parties with whom you share your links.

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create within Showpacer, such as room names, timer titles, and messages. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the Service.

Core features of Showpacer are currently offered at no charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or usage limits in the future. If we do, we will provide reasonable notice before any charges apply to your account.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Live events rely on network connectivity and third-party infrastructure, which are beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining backup timing procedures for mission-critical productions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PAP SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS L.P. and its operators, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or event outcomes, arising from your access to or use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or zero euros (€0.00) if you have not made any payments.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease, and any provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Greece to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
